Unhide b2g desktop builds when there's a way to acceptably deal with their externalities

Once again, a gaia commit broke b2g builds, in this case just Windows b2g desktop builds. Once again, since there's no way to see that gaia changed and the b2g build system is so foreign and opaque, I backed out a blameless inbound push because it had been green before, and was red after.
This time, I hid all the b2g desktop builds on mozilla-inbound, mozilla-central, try, fx-team, services-central, build-system, ionmonkey and graphics, until the dependent bug I'll file next, on finding some way to make them acceptably not silently fail from silently using the tip of who-knows-how-many external repos, is fixed.

And yes, I do know the visibility policy says "legacy exception being gaia." That doesn't mean it was a good idea, or that having dropped gaia-nightly was a good idea.

Agree, I was extremely reluctant to add that phrase to the policy, but did so just to pre-empt the "but gaia does it" feedback.
Thank you for filing this.
The A-team is working on solutions that will enable us to see gaia checkins just like other checkins.
Johnathan, I suspect that you already have other bugs tracking that work. Wanna dupe this bug against any of those?

Wrong bug to be the duplicate - when we hide something (for cause, rather than just because it was turned on broken from the start), we file a bug against ourselves to unhide it, this one, and a bug that depends on about making the changes to make it possible to unhide. So assuming that bug 868597 is the bug that will be closed when they no long break from externalities, this depends on that, and bug 861573 is the one that's a duplicate of it.

Well, it's not closed, but it's sort of approximately working, and now we have desktop b2g builds that use a curated gaia rev but are hidden, and device and emulator builds that use the tip of gaia and break from it frequently and are visible.
Unhidden.
