Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130410055744
Steps to reproduce:
The new downloads panel doesn't show the speed of the download.
Expected results:
There is perfectly space for showing it, alongside ETA and downloaded/total size. It is a very useful feature to know if a download is slowing (or even stopped). It's not very handy having to place the cursor over ETA/size and wait the download speed for showing up. I don't see the point of hiding it since the space available is more than enough.

I managed to add the speed to download panel with help of folks at Custom Buttons board, check link http://custombuttons.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1006 for screenshot and code proof.
I hope Mozilla add it back, this is so important for usability. Based on bug 759397, I bet they will mark this as resolved wontfix. They removed the download rate instead to increase few pixels, that's hilarious. I would like to understand the logic in this case.
