For this you need a Yahoo ID to allow signon. To reproduce: 1) Start with url stated in bug (http://finance.yahoo.com). 2) Sign in. 3) Click on "Java Mgr" link. This opens a new window and starts loading a java applet. However, before it starts, another window pops up and says that "You must be logged in ....". The browser window then takes you back to the sigon window. No matter how many times you attempt to signon, it always asks you to sign on again. Cannot use the applet. This functionality works fine on Netscape 4.76 under Linux. Interestingly, get exactly the same problem with KDE's Konqueror browser - perhaps this is another evangelism issue?
Also note that I'm currently using Java 2 plugin v 1.3.1
