In some sim cards, we might need a mms apn setting page.

Hi Kaze,
If my recall is right, I remember we used to have a (hacked) MMS APN setting page but I cannot see it anymore. Anyway, for this user story, we need to formally expose that page to users.

The sub panel for APN settings for MMS is still hidden in the setting application (see [1] and [2]). Btw, Kaze is PTO for two weeks.

Since MMS feature is leo+, we should also enable the mms apn settings page for user.

Steve, can we use the new APN setting structure?

I'm not sure that time is sufficient for new APN setting structure, but restore the page is easy because it already exist. I suggest we could just enable the page for this issue and apply new structure in 842252, thanks.

Adding needinfo for product make a recommendation here if this is leo+ and blocks the MMS story.

Daniel, is this going to be a problem for the release market? i believe the phones will only be able to use specific carrier SIM (as phones should be sim locked) so this should not be a problem for the release

This will be an issue in the target markets I'm working with. MMS uses different tariff structures from data in many cases, and being able to modify/add APNs for MMS as well as specify MMS-specific settings is a requirement (especially since the only way they can be modified currently is a software update).

Agree with above comments. Should this be recorded in the MMS Wiki?
