+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #852805 +++
If you search for a word that exists on a page, then quickly empty the contents of the "find in page" text box, 2 (at least) strange behaviors are noticeable:
1) The text of your original search remains highlighted
2) Using the "enter" key will continue searching for your original search term

Filed bug 864241 for a slight delay in updating the highlighted instance and bug 864243 for keeping the Find bar open across tabs.
Verified this bug using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130421 Firefox/23.0
-the outcomes in comment 0 are no longer reproducible
In addition, went through the following cases:
-used Enter and Next/Previous button to pass through all instances of a word
-removed/added letters to a highlighted word - the word is updated
-opened a new tab with the Find bar open and searched for a new word - behavior consistent with Firefox Desktop - word in first tab remains highlighted

Went through the following defect for iteration #20 without any issues. Used the following build:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-12-23-03-02-03-mozilla-central/
- Went through the original test case in comment #0 without any issues
- Went through Bug 852805 and Bug 905808 which are similar to this one (used the same test cases and everything worked without any issues)
- Ensured that pressing "Enter" and "Shift + Enter" scrolls through the entire website without any issues
- Ensured that you can only use the up/down arrows, "Enter" and "Shift + Enter" while the cursor is focused on the Find App Bar text box
- Ensured that the wrap transitions are smooth and have no jank associated with them while searching through a website (top/bottom and bottom/top)
- Ensured that you can use all the search methods when using the Find App Bar (Pressing "Enter", "Shift + Enter" and using the Up/Down buttons)
- Ensured that pressing "CTRL + F" slides in the Search App Bar
- Ensured that pressing "ESC" dismisses the Search App Bar
- Ensured that if both the OSK and Find App Bar are visible at the same time, pressing "ESC" or the "X" dismisses both without any issues
- Ensured that taping on the "X" in the text box clears the current content
- Ensured that you can't search after clearing the current text box content under the Find App Bar using either "backspace" or taping on the "X"
- Ensured that nothing is highlighted once the content of the text box under Find App Bar is cleared using either the "backspace" or taping on the "X"
- Ensured that all of the above test cases also work under filled view
