Since several versions the browse back and forward buttons doesn't work. Would i ever seen this in function ?

A little more details may be useful... What build are you using? What theme are you using? Can you see the buttons? Or are they invisible? If you can see them, does anything happen when you click them?

comments from reporter: I use build:0.9.1 on SuSE 7.1 with Kernel 2.4.0. This error occurs on all themes. The buttons are always disabled. I think the last build in which this buttons are work is 0.8.1.

Frank: are the buttons invisible? Or are they visible but inactive? Does this happen in the Classic theme and at any URL you go to?

Is this perhaps a dupe of bug 84827 or bug 83684? This bug had now shown up for me in a long time, until some minute ago with build 2001-06-20-17. But I do not have a reproducable testcase with that version.

This happened with me also. I had started Mozilla this morning but it was inactive for a couple of hours. When i restarted browsing using it, the back and forward buttons did not work. I restarted Mozilla and things worked okay. Build Id used by me : 2001060703

Reporter: Can you try this : Uninstall mozilla, delete all files that the installer had not deleted and reinstall mozilla. If that doesn't work, run "mozilla -profilemanager" an create a new profile. BTW: You can add comments direct in this bug, write something in the Additional comments field and hit "Commit"

I've completely deleted the old mozilla 0.9.1 and installed the current browser 0.9.2 (2001 06 28 23) and now the buttons works fine.
