Details
When Mozilla prompts for "Open using...", it is not possible to enter the name
of an executable that is in the path. For example, if I want Mozilla to use
realplay to open a file, and realplay is in my path, Mozilla will NOT allow me
to just enter realplay in the dialog, I must enter /usr/X11R6/bin/realplay.
The ideal would be to do much as bash does: allow the user to enter a partial
name, and look that up in the path and give a list of possible options.
