In the startup folder the item should not be "Mozilla.exe". It should be "Mozilla" not perhaps better "Mozilla Quick Launch"

come on. Just change: "$MainExeFile$" to: scExeDesc which is like the other ways that the shortcuts are created.

I vote for "Mozilla Quick Launch" or "Mozilla QuickLaunch".
I still think "Quick Launch" is a really bad word, since everybody using Windows has a "Quick Launch" toolbar.
$ 0.02 on the naming issue (ignore if you don't care =) I was the one that originally came up with the QuickLaunch (or alternativly QuickStart) name(s). It was put forward as alternative to the IMO much less intuitive (for the normal user) suggestions of: Server (user reaction: - "? no, I run W9x, not NT server") and Turbo (user reaction: - "does it really make my modem download faster ? Cool!"). At the time I didn't even think about the Win98+ toolbar thingy, but I do still consider Quicklaunch an infinitly better name then what it replaced (and one could argue that the QL toolbar should in fact be named something like Shortcutbar to have it represent what it actually is =) In any case, if a better name is found, remeber to change the name in the preferences too as it's currently called Quick Launch there and different names will just lead to confusion =) Currently thoug, I suggest sticking with Quick Launch due to lack of any good alternatives.
BTW this bug is marked NEW here but is overlined in bug 75599 (resolved ?). Is that as intended or a Bugzilla bug ?
sean: do we have an entity like scExeDesc for the "Mozilla/Netscape Quick Launch"? or how do we fix this baby...?
** deposits his $0.02 ** Maybe "Mozilla Quick Start" or "Mozilla QuickStart" would be an alternative to the "quick launch" term used by windows.
wow... I'm both Assigned To, QA and reporter... Has it been decided to use "Quick Launch" or are we able to change it to the much better "Mozilla Quick Start"?
Perhaps this is WONTFIX now that the startup folder is going out of the picture?
it's actually invalid because it no longer exists.
