The Data Choices Preferences-Tab contains at least two elementary privacy options, every privacy-concerned user should see. So they should go under the "privacy" Settings, not under "Advanced". The Title "Privacy" fits very well anyway, so no need to place it in Advanced.
Component: General → Preferences
IMO, those 2 preferences (Enable/Disable Firefox Health Report and Enable/Disable Crash Reporter) are not privacy related options. They have nothing to do with your browsing history, passwords, cookie, tracking or other private data. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/legal/privacy/firefox.html#health-report http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/legal/privacy/firefox.html#crash-reporter

Sending potentially sensible information to mozilla affects your privacy, doesn't it? The more its hidden, the more the people will say "firefox is phoning home". So make it a obvious choice (and opt-in instead of opt-out would be good, but thats not the scope of this bug) in the privacy options, so there are all options affecting private data while surfing at one place. Maybe the privacy section should get tabs then, like "browsing privacy", "private mode options", "data choices", ...
Which is the sent information that you consider "sensible"? As I said previously, those 2 features send statistical metrics, not private user data.
Valid RFE. Just needs a Decision.

Still needs a detailed UI plan (or a WONTFIX decision).

(I'm duping this to a newer bug because there's a spec there and that bug is tracking the new re-organization of the Preferences)
