Details

I think it might be cool for mozilla to handle special mail headers, related to mailing lists like List-Unsubscribe, etc ... There may be some button like "Special operations" that will be available when reading message contanining such headers. When clicked, there will appear some popup menu with actions like Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Help, etc ... (or maybe a menu, not button ... not sure how the UI should exactly look like) Some example of such mail headers: List-Id: <ms-secnews.list-id.securityfocus.com> List-Post: <mailto:ms-secnews@securityfocus.com> List-Help: <mailto:ms-secnews-help@securityfocus.com> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:ms-secnews-unsubscribe@securityfocus.com> List-Subscribe: <mailto:ms-secnews-subscribe@securityfocus.com> Such a feature is available for example in Pegasus mail and I'm missing it in mozilla.
See also bug 74347 on replying to mailing lists.
Summary: Mozilla should recognize special mailing list headers (like List-Unsubscribe) → [RFE] Recognize special mailing list headers (like List-Unsubscribe)
Duplicates bug 29041 (except List-Id isn't described in RFC 2369).
Oops! Bug 83338 covers List-ID (RFC 2919).
