Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.1+) Gecko/20010623 BuildID: 2001062306 I tried to type several url's not already saved in the autocomplete bar, and mozilla does not try to enter them. Right now i can only surf to url's already saved on my autocomplete bar. Closing the browser windows and opening a new one fixes this temporaly. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter a url not saved in the url bar 2.Press enter Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: mozilla should load url's
Using File|Open Web Location works with all url This is a blocker for me Updating This may happen only on this build

Since the urls i was visiting were stored in the autocomplete, i didn't notice that when trying to say if it was reproducible or not. Turns out that it's reproducible always, and the only way to get into a url, is to press the "down" key to launch an url stored in the autocomplete bar This means that if www.cnn.com, but you dont press the down key to access it and rather press enter, it does not work Tweaking summary a bit for better understanding
Summary: Mozilla does not try to visit url not remembered → Cannot load url unless chosen in the autocomplete bar
