The treatment for errors when sending mmi codes is done on Dialer > mmi_ui.js https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/master/apps/communications/dialer/js/mmi_ui.js#L184 And to not duplicate strings, we re-use some strings from FTU, so my guess is that this specific one could be this https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/master/apps/communications/ftu/locales/ftu.en-US.properties#L8, but would like some confirmation that the text is shown is 'The PIN was incorrect'

Just discovered the bug 879032 that deals with translations for mmi codes on gecko, that would let us get rid of the current workaround we are using, so I'm gonna block this one depending on 879032 being solved

Most of the MMI strings with commercial RIL come from RIL code. As mentioned by fernando bug 879032 would solve this issue too.

This will be fixed in bug 868950
