From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628 BuildID: 2001062823 I want to copy and paste text into a textbox, like for example UCE from my email application into the SPAM reporting form at http://spamcop.net. If the spam email is large I have to copy and paste it one screenful at a time. When I click the bottom of the textbox, below the last line of the existing text, and paste, the text I just pasted ends up everywhere else _but_ below the existing text. I try hitting Page-Down and Down-Arrow to position the text-marker at the bottom of the text-box, but nothing helps. When I paste the text ends up in the middle of the previous (existing) text. I've had this problem with Netscape 6.0, Mozilla 0.8, 0.9 and now 0.9.2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Paste some text into a text-box 2. Shift focus to other app. Copy some more text. 3. Shift focus back to Mozilla, click in the textbox you used before and try to place the new text neatly on the first available line below the text you pasted before. Actual Results: The new text is mixed in the middle of the old text. Expected Results: Pasted the new text below the old text. I tried to paste into this text-box and here it works fine, exactly as expected. This means the problem is limited to the text-box for reporting spam/UCE at http://spamcop.net.

What method are you using to paste? Edit->paste? A keyboard shortcut (which)? Middle-clicking (where)?
