* We use vbox/hbox for #start and #start-scrollbox, but depending on device orientation and viewstate, orient values and scroll direction may need to be reversed. 
* Use <box> and a -moz-box-orient rule to move display logic to CSS
* This is a prerequisite to the start UI becoming responsive
