The Gallery app hardly talks at all. Unlabeled links, and photo items are also not spoken. The labels for these should contain any relevant info such as if it's a photo or video, if it's in portrait or landscape, and at what date and time it was taken. See iOS Photos app for an example of a well-done gallery. This should also pertain to the photo picker brought up from other apps.
