Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628 BuildID: 2001062815 The bookmark file suddenly grows in size (mine grew to over 17mb). I don't remember doing anything special other than changing some preferences trying to get mozilla to be the default browser (settings on the advanced>systems settings page). After shutting the browser down, it would not restart. I deleted the program files & reinstalled from the zip files. I had saved the bookmark file and when I put it back in the correct directory, Mozilla would not start. Deleting the bookmark file solves the problem. I don't believe I can email the Bookmark file, but when I examined it with other software, it had the same bookmarks repeating over & over. So some routine that was writing to the bookmark file duplicated a lot of bookmarks (the file was originally about 300kb). Moving this file into the profile directory definately stops Mozilla from loading). Bugs 88948 (pc - Win2000) & 88910 (Mac - 16mb bookmark file) are probably related Reproducible: Didn't try
Dupe of bug 51201?
Umm, colgroup? I think this is a dup, though -- it sounds like a nasty case of bug 87864 (or maybe an even earlier instance of the same bug.) raines@one.net, would you mind reading through bug 87864 and seeing if your problem is similar enough to mark this a duplicate? Thanks.
