I can't extend the pane to the full length permitted by the window.  That is, a
half-length pane shows about half the folders at one time.  I can use the slider
to reveal the other half, but only within the same pane.  My style is

 ___________
 | |       |
 | |_______|
 | |       |
 | |       |
 |_|_______|


(In my build, the left column extends only to half the page and cannot be drawn
down to the bottom.)

Earlier versions didn't have this problem.  It may be an oversight.

Seeing this too. 

However, this is true for various sorts of sidebars throughout the app (splitter
ones, not like the main sidebar).  Sending to XPToolkit.

This bug has not been touched since 2001-07-08, therefore this reminder.

I am not seeing the described problem in mozilla 1.0.1 under linux, so perhaps
this has been fixed. Reporter could you please retest with a current mozilla
build  let us know if the problem is still there, otherwise please close the bug
by marking it fixed or worksforme
