blocks a tracked bug
jorge, is this something we want to blocklist?
I'm somewhat concerned about outright blocking, as AFAIK we established in bug 897503 that the add-on is all JS and the actual bug is on our side.
(In reply to Robert Kaiser (:kairo@mozilla.com) from comment #3) > I'm somewhat concerned about outright blocking, as AFAIK we established in > bug 897503 that the add-on is all JS and the actual bug is on our side. As stated in comment 0, this block is temporary to prevent the same situation as Relevant Knowledge crashes where Beta, Aurora and Nightly populations are stuck. This bug, if landed in time (seems to late for Aurora 25), will restrict crashes to the Nightly population and give time to find a fix for bug 897503.
We might consider this for Beta, since the add-on has significant usage. However, if this is really a bug on our side, we should look into fixing that ASAP rather than just blocking it. It's possible that other add-ons are affected and we just don't know about it yet.
Bug 897503 was fixed, so we no longer need this.
