When I start to enter numbers on dialpad it try to search in the number of contacts not in the names that associated with the entered numbers' alphabets. For Example: 6 - MNO 8 - TUV entering 686 will not found Mum, but found any contacts containing 686 in the number. Using this feature I have to remember for the contact number. Search in contact name not in number or search both in name and number too.

hey Wilfred, This feature was asked for a long time by a user and I actually think it would be really useful. Any chance we can add this to our roadmap?

This feature is actually also quoted in the review in http://www.gsmarena.com/firefox_os-review-1108p4.php.
With the current mozContacts, I think we should have a specific index for this. Maybe with datastores you'll be able to have an in-app database but for now... Unless you can cheat because you're in communications/ ?
What about to targeting 2.2?
