When download anything using Firefox Metro, the Navigation App Bar will appear right below the download confirmation bar. When you attempt to tap on "Save" the first time, the Navigation App Bar will be dismissed first. Tapping on "Save" the second time around will then start downloading. - Attached a screenshot to illustrate the issue Steps to reproduce the issue: 1) Open Firefox Metro 2) Go to get.videolan.org and go to the download page (any download will do though) 3) Once the download process begins, you'll receive a "Download App Bar" with "Run, Save, Cancel" and then a few seconds later the Navigation App Bar appears 4) Tap on "Save", you'll notice that the Navigation App Bar is dismissed first 5) Tap on "Save" the second time around and it will start downloading Current Behavior: - User needs to Tap twice to start downloading something. The first Tap will dismiss the Navigation App Bar and the second Tap will then start saving the download Expected Behavior: - User should only have to tap once to get the download started Used the following build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-08-19-03-02-05-mozilla-central/
Will be fixed by the work in bug 903740.

Used the following build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-12-15-03-02-02-mozilla-central/ - Went through the original issue in comment #0 without any issues - Ensured that you cannot dismiss the download app bar by taping on the screen - Ensured that taping "X" will dismiss the download app bar the first time around - Ensured that taping "Cancel" will dismiss the download app bar the first time around - Ensured that taping "Save" starts downloading the file the first time around - Ensured that taping "Open" will download and then open the application the first time around - Ensured that taping "Show in Files" opens the "Downloads" folder in the Desktop Environment the first time around - Ensured that taping "Open" once the file has been downloaded works the first time around - Ensured that you can tap on the blue download button and receive the download app bar with the progress of the download, ensured that you receive it with the first tap - Ensured you can dismiss the download app bar by taping on the "X" when the progress is being displayed - Ensured that taping "Cancel" while the download is in progress worked the first time around - Ensured that all of the above test cases worked in the filled 50/50 view - Ensured that all of the above test cases worked in all the variety of different snapped views
