I notice on (at least) phx1 nagios, the Contact Group build is out of date:
https://nagios.mozilla.org/phx1/cgi-bin/config.cgi?type=contactgroups&expand=build
First, lsblakk & jford are no longer with the group.
Second, since "buildteam" expands to "release@m.c" I think having individual names there is redundant, unless they are getting escalations via some other method. (If this is a longer discussion related to the new monitoring goals we have, then please skip for this bug.)

Hal,
I think the individual names there allow people to view the Nagios web interface, without that you all won't have access to it.
I can remove lsblakk and jford from there if you so wish.

This is correct. Removing users from the build group will sever the access to the nagios web u/i.
Kind of a double edge sword here. If you want to continue using release@m.c as the notification target, we can silence emails to the individual users. This would also silence all email for these users if they are in other notification groups. So that may not be ideal for everyone in the "build" contact group.
lsblakk and jford have been removed

Okay, so this needs more thought as we tweak our operations. Let's leave as is for now.
Thanks!
