I have a web page with a static navigation bar on top (provided by bootstrap.js 3.0, so it should be quite common). If the page does not have a lot of content, no scrolling is necessary and the Firefox address bar is always visible, but overlaps the static content of the web page (the navigation bar), making it unusable. STR: - Use a Nexus 4 device (or any other device with the same screen size/resolution?) - Visit http://optimsoc.org/getinvolved.html This WORKS ok in - Chrome for Android (latest released version) - Firefox for Android 23.0 (release) - Firefox Beta 24.0 This works NOT in - Firefox Aurora 25a2 (newest as of today) - Firefox nightly as of today
Hardware: x86_64 → ARM
This is now fixed in the latest nightly (it might have been fixed any of the last couple days, but the localized nightlies were broken and so I didn't get any over the weekend). BUT: it's still broken in Aurora. Does anybody have an idea which bug solved this to ensure that it gets uplifted to Aurora before the uplift to beta?
I can't think of any changes off the top of my head that would have fixed this. You might need to bisect a little to figure out what fixed it.
BAD: 77ed46bf4c1a ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/tinderbox-builds/mozilla-central-android/1378340595/ GOOD: 676322e0166c ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/tinderbox-builds/mozilla-central-android/1378375637/ "Betterment range": http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=77ed46bf4c1a&tochange=676322e0166c (i.e. in this range there is the changeset which fixed the bug) I looked through the range but I couldn't see anything suspicious. I don't think there are builds available to go deeper than that, are there? I don't have an fennec build environment around, so I cannot dig any deeper unfortunately.
My money is on bug 904533 in that range. There are actually builds available to go deeper, in the mozilla-inbound-android and various other folders on the FTP server. However it's not easy to follow the merges to m-c and pick the right builds.

Kats - Should we think about uplifting bug 904533?

We did consider it but it's too late and too risky. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=904533#c60
