1. Have no Flash plug-in installed. 2. Open http://wardcunningham.github.io/ , so that two plug-in-related icons appear in the location bar as described in bug 916593. -> 1. an icon about a missing plug-in appears; 2. a doorhanger suggesting installing a Flash plug-in appears, attached to that icon; 3. a CtP doorhanger icon appears to the left of the first icon, shifting the first icon to the right. The doorhanger doesn't shift, appearing attached to the new icon now.

Given that only one of the click-to-play and the missing-plugin notification icons should get shown at the same time, it would be interesting to know if this actually happens with other notifications as well.

Than this would probably be a bug with the notification code that got since fixed.

Indeed, it doesn't shift on FF 24, 25, only in 26.

It still doesn't shift in 2013-09-17-03-02-14-mozilla-central-firefox-26.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.

(In reply to Paul Silaghi [QA] from comment #5) > only in 26. When it's not freezing, but only on Win On Ubuntu, I confirm comment 6. (the same, only when it's not freezing)

(In reply to Paul Silaghi [QA] from comment #5) > Indeed, it doesn't shift on FF 24, 25, only in 26. Actually it doesn't shift on any platform only if moving the mouse cursor while the doorhangers appear.
