Shouldn't need to double click for getting focus after address autocomplete

Build 2001072003 on Win95.
Many times I forgot to double click (I don't use tabs for moving focus) after an
address autocomplete. After hitting a few characters, I realize that I still
type in the address field, not in the subject or message body. Single clicking
on another text area after an address autocomplete doesn't move focus. It is
4xp, by the way.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable address autocomplete in Mail & News preferences.
2. In a message composition window, type something and leave autocomplete to
enter the rest of the address. Do not touch Enter or any mouse key.
3. Single click (left mouse button) on the subject field ot the message body.
Expected results:
The clicked item gets focus.
Actual results:
Need to click again, in order to get focus and become able to type.

I did the exact steps you did, and this works for me in linux 2001072105
I typed an exact match of my address book, and i didn't click on that name, i
went right away to click on the subject line just once and it worked ok
Franscisco, perhaps this is a platform specific issue. I still see the problem
on Win98, in it's usual manner. I will describe it here again (with a few more
details):
1. After entering some characters in the address field, autocomplete feature
adds some string beginning with "@". The added string is selected.
2. In a line below the original, the autocompleted address is displayed again (I
suppose here is the place to present more than one matches)
3. By clicking once on another text area, the line described in 2 disappears.
BUT the selection described in 1 still exists and that is the problem.
Therefore, no carret and no focus in the new text area.
4. After another click, the selection diminishes and the carret appears where I
wanted to place it.

No matter what i do, i cant reproduce this
Can you get a branch build? Branch builds are tagged with "0.9.2" at the end
build 2001072303, taken from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-0.9.2/ : the problem still
exists and it's annoying. I wonder why it wasn't already filed.
Could you test it on Win9x platform ?
