Details
Build 2001072304 Linux (both RH 6.x and 7.0)
1. install full setup type - after removing .mozilla
2. automigration of 4.x profile takes place/ activation screens come up
Actual results: app hangs, no browser window
expected results: browser launch
*did a recommended install - again, removing .mozilla, this did launch
this only happened on first install for both K'Trina and me. cannot reproduce
with
1. removing .mozilla and running with ./netscape -installer
2. doing a whole new full install
release note?
Is this a new problem?
Can this be reproduced more widely (everyone sees this first time after full
install)?
Jimmy - can you try to get some data on this?
We did not witness this problem on Friday, July 20. However, the problem is
intermittant, and I have not ruled out that this did not exist in Friday's
build.
I have not reproduced the problem. K'Trina has seen this more than once. We
have not been able to find a reproducible case...yet.
But this defect definitely happens.

Build 2001072304 Linux 7.0
I was able to reproduce this on recommended set up as well as full set up (with
and without removing .mozilla on both set ups)

While speaking with jag about the Mac bug (91930), he mentioned seeing this on
Linux- thinks he has fix- see bug 91930 for his comments

I'm pretty sure this is a dupe of bug 91930. Marking it as such. Grace, please
reopen if you still see this in tomorrow's builds.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 91930 ***
