User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131028113308
Steps to reproduce:
Australis URL-bar is too tall. I've always used "small icons" as a way to reduce the amount of chrome firefox displays. Australis will no longer have "small icons." This means that Firefox will display too much chrome by default.
Actual results:
Look at Australis URL-bar. Notice how enourmous the URL-bar is. It takes up too much space; it is too tall, too thick. It's proportions need to be reduced quite a bit.
Expected results:
Australis' URL-bar needs to be reduced in size. It should not take up so much screen space. Firefox users deserve a web-browser that minimizes its presence on the screen, leaving room for content.
The URL-bar should be shorter and not as thick. Also, the "back-button" should be made smaller. It is too big and takes up too much space on the URL-bar.
I just read an article on CNET about Australis. Other people are also complaining about the huge sizing of the URLbar and Toolbar-icons and a lack of a "Small Icons" setting to fix it. So I am far from the only user that is concerned about this upcoming change.
