Let's make it possible for the user to collapse levels of the TOC. This would make it possible for them to close very long TOCs, which may make them easier to read and find what you need in than having to scroll through the whole thing. This would likely be done by clicking on a disclosure button next to each heading that has sub-headings below it, or something along those lines.
