Details

Overview Description: Menus on the Mac become unresponsive after a dialogue has been presented and dismissed. By unresponsive I mean you can pull down the menu, but clicking on any of them doesn't trigger an action. This has been happening for awhile but I finally got a reproducible test case. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Launch Apprunner 2) Goto a site that requires a dialogue, such as http://www.w3.org/P3P/Group/Syntax/Drafts/WD-P3P-19980814/syntax.html 3) Enter a bogus username/password Actual Results: Menus become unresponsive. Try QA - Bug Writing or Tasks - Editor. Nothing is triggered. Expected Results: Menus should function normally. Build Date & Platform Bug Found: 7/7 build, Mac 8.5 Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On: Linux/Windows, no problems. Additional Information: The same problem exists for other password dialogues such as when you go to Edit - Wallet - Wallet Contents. Basically, after using any of the singlesignon or autofill features, the menus stop working.

reassigning to saari as p2 for m9, assuming we can live with it for m8 since it has been happening a while. cc danm

I see simon has figured this out, it is a focus issue, which explains why it happens after dialogues are presented. Marking as a duplicate of 9701. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 9701 ***
