1. Set
user_pref("prompts.tab_modal.enabled", false);
2. Load the testcase.
3. While the alert is still up, press ⌘Q to quit Firefox.
There are intermittent-failure bugs on this assertion (e.g. 935786), but this testcase seems to be reliable.
