Saving ftp://swrinde.nde.swri.edu/pub/png/images/png/Alpha/MagnoliaAlpha.png causes the file to be re retrived from the ftp site

As you can see, the image is in cache, but not being used as the source document as the save
While testing
ftp://swrinde.nde.swri.edu/pub/png/images/png/Alpha/MagnoliaAlpha.png (linked to
from debug -> verification -> PNG images)
, i attempted to save the file. This is the 3.2 meg png file linked to from the
smaller version on the debug/verification/png images web page.
PROBLEM:
Instead of saving from cache, mozilla goes and regets the file from the ftp
site, instead of from cache as i would expect.
I can not confirm this occurs with all pictures (especially those from http
servers) but think it does.
System: duron 700, 256 ram, clean install of winme, using mozilla build 20010803.
