Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.57 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Have an IMAP account on a mail server running courier imap. Folders should be already created and subscribed to by another email client ( any email client ).
Add the new account to thunderbird
Try and find the folders without restarting thunderbird.
Actual results:
Only the Inbox shows in the folder list. By collapsing the folder list and then expanding it again, Trash shows up and nothing else
Closing and restarting thunderbird makes the folders show up.. The folders are the default special folders (Drafts, Sent, Archives, Trash)
Note: As if you don't already know this... When connecting to a Courier IMAP server, all folders are subfolders of Inbox.
Expected results:
The folders should have been seen without having to restart thunderbird.

This would seem to be a dup of bug 688739. And frankly I am surprised I am not finding a bug older than 688739 (not even in resolution wontfix, duplicates, invalid)
