We currently use this image in the "About" sidebar in Metro Firefox on all channels:

The image is based on the old Nightly logo.  We should move this to the branding directory, and provide updated images for all our release channels.

The beta ribbon is out of frame, is that OK in it's current context?

Yes, that's perfect since we use the same branding for beta and release builds.  (Only Firefox for Android has separate "beta" branding assets.)

I'm going to reopen this bug and land the attached assets as a short-term fix for Firefox 28, and we can handle the more ambitious changes from bug 898843 at a later date.

Nevermind -- the work in bug 898843 was easier than I had thought, so I'm going to go ahead with that bug and re-close this one.  Sorry for the bugspam, everyone.
