Details

If you select a small amount of text and copy, it gets copied to the primary selection; if you select a large amount of text (e.g. Select All on http://www.jwz.org/xkeycaps/ ) it gets copied to the clipboard as shown by xclipboard, but not the primary selection. This is inconsistent behaviour. (I hope I got the terminology right.) I'm using klipper from KDE 2.1.1 if that's relevant. (If this is the correct behaviour I think it should be documented.)
Did copy with "Select All" followed by "Copy" (ctrl-c or from menu)? If so, this is "Select All (+ Copy) does not clobber the X primary selection". If not, please reopen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 70519 ***
