supplement bug description here: PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Precondition: Set language to Portuguese in HERE maps. There is wrong translations inside Here maps application and information regarding directions is all in English. Today a warning is displayed to user "Direcções dó disponiveis en inglês" that basically says that this instructions are only available in English. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: Application should be correct translated to Portuguese to avoid complain of customers. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Go to HERE Maps; Try to search for a direction from a point A to point B; See that phone will display"Direcções só disponíveis en Inglês"; Then you will see many instruction in English like: "Head toward", "Turn left onto", "Turn right onto","Arrived at" for instance;

Hi Elisa, could you help on this? this bug was found during the Buri IOT in Chile. The HERE map is lacking Portuguese translation Thanks

Confirmed this bug exists on a Helix device v1.1hd. In addition to Portuguese, I also verified that turn-by-turn directions are not translated into Polish, even though the rest of the app seems to be translated correctly. Spanish and German turn-by-turn directions are translated correctly. I will reach out to massimiliano.ronzitti@nokia.com and jussi.ar.silfver@here.com to see when this bug can be fixed. They do not have Bugzilla accounts so I will e-mail them directly.

Jussi Ar Silfver (jussi.ar.silfver@here.com) e-mailed us on 1/7/2014: Wrong translation inside HERE Maps ticket is about turn by turn navigation is not translated in Portuguese and Polish. In these cases it falls back to English. For this one I need to get back to you in the upcoming days. Translations come from our backend and I need to talk with them about this. Sorry for that. Jussi has not created a Bugzilla account so I cannot assign the bug to him--I'm looking to Dees and Donovan to follow up with Jussi in the near future.

Clearing nom - this is a TE problem, not a Gaia/Gecko problem, which is something we don't block on. We'll certainly have the maps team look into this issue though.
