Steps to reproduce:

middle clicked on a link (browser.tabs.remote enabled)


Actual results:

1. new tab with link opened
2. current tabs goes back
3. back button restores current tab to original page (forward button never visible)


Expected results:

1. new tab with link opened

Reproduced #2 with 2013-12-09-05-34-02-mozilla-central-firefox-28.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.  Not #3.

The tab also entered a wierd unselectable state, when i couldn't switch to it (even with ctrl-tab/ctrl-shift-tab) but could close it.

This seems to fix the problem for me. However, I don't understand the other weird behaviors mentioned here. They may be unrelated bugs.

On Linux, middle click goes back in history, so I wonder if #2 is a similar manifestation to bug 862519
