On Geeksphone Peak, 0.facebook.com is too small to use.

Compared to attachment 8345538 [details] this is how m.facebook.com looks like.
I don't really know who should I talk to about this so I'm asking Pascal to guide on this :)

CCing karl who works on Tech Evangelism, especially with mobile sites, I think it's more in his bucket ;)

Not able to test from here: "Sorry, 0.facebook.com is only supported by select mobile carriers and is not available from your mobile carrier. If you are contacting your mobile carrier, mention that your IP address 65.36.73.92 is not supported."
Yes that's because only few carries in the developing countries offer free facebook navigation on 0.facebook.com through a contract with Facebook. or at least that's my understanding for it..
Any updates ?
Hard to test if we can't load the site.. Sounds like the viewport tag is not working as it should though.
You are comparing the low-end mobile website to the high-end touch site. It seems that 0.facebook.com does serve the low-end m.facebook.com and not the high-end touch.facebook.com. This might make sense as 0 is usable for free and therefor should depend on minimal data and assets. Touch needs will use a lot more data. Colby from FB might have more input if that is on the roadmap.

Seeing that this is not affecting low-res displays, our usual developer country launch phone; why is this high priority.

Here's a better screenshot of 0.facebook.com, you can clearly notice how small text and buttons are compared to what yet to be attached of 0.facebook.com on Android. The problem is not what high-end version of facebook has that its low-end doesn't. It's just that viewport or what so ever cause is, not functioning well so that 0.facebook.com is not being as supported as it should on Firefox OS. So next I'm going to attach a screenshot of the same website on Geeksphone Keon, Android, Windows Phone and possibly iOS :) Thanks so much

I see what you mean, Ahmed. We don't send a viewport meta tag down on our basic site. I'll look into special casing one for fxos.

So I did some digging. I can repro on my Peak running 1.3, but not on any version of the simulator or my other dev phone, which like the simulator has a smaller screen. Is it possible that this is specific to the HD version of fxos? Could this be indicative of a bug with the browser? As Ahmed noted, the site is zoomed to a much more reasonable level on other smartphone browsers, including Firefox for Android.
