User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131205075310
Steps to reproduce:
Updated from 25.0.1 to 26.0
Actual results:
In the "Generel Tab" in settings there used to be a "Show Filestatus When A File Is Downloaded" or something (I use a Danish version). The "Save Files In:" is still there but the other option seems to has dissappered in version 26. How can i get it back ?
Expected results:
I would still have seen the line and the square to mark with a "v".

This was removed in bug 899110 because in Firefox 26, the downloads window is no longer supported, so opening and closing it automatically isn't necessary. I'm guessing this bug is therefore "WONTFIX", because I don't think the options make sense for the new downloads panel, but I'll let Paolo confirm my suspicions here.

The new "Downloads" window is a disaster. It no longer even shows Downloads visibly if you use cascaded windows, e.g. http://i.imgur.com/542ckLp.png

Yes, this functionality is now available in the Downloads Window add-on, that opens a window automatically when a new download starts: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/downloads-window/
