User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.63 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Gallery application can support image pixel size up to 5 MP as i know this value is configured in config.js. On MADAI we need to support images which are more than 5 MP. I have following concerns in changing the default config value. 1. If i just modify the CONFIG_MAX_IMAGE_PIXEL_SIZE value to my requirement other partners may run into issues.Need a proposal to achieve this in more generic way. 2. This issue is depends up on buzilla ID : 854795, With out fixing this issue if i change my gaia i may run into OOM issues. This bug is similar to bugzilla ID : 815079. Actual results: Images which are more than 5 MP are not listed in gallery app. Expected results: Gallery application has to support image size up to 13 MP or more.

Can you let me know what the concerns are with this? If you change the value for your device only it shouldn't impact other partners. > 2. I agree to your point, but i think changing the hard code value in config.js may not be the right way to fix this issue, Mozilla has plan to configure the value during build time. It will be helpful if we get any update on this plan. > > 2. As discussed, this can be configured per build according to the device needs. closing this bug as wont fix here.
