But having the icon there for the duration of the tab is overkill. * Same with plugin notification. I just clicked "continue allowing" so it can go away now. * The problem as a whole is compounded by the lucky charms on the right, which have been breeding.

I'm not sure what exactly to do. A bug is still valid even if it doesn't have an immediately obvious solution ;) Perhaps we should not show the icon at all after the user selects [continue allowing], and have the option to change plugin choices if user clicks on the identity icon.
No longer blocks: fxos-papercuts
The design changed various times, now the have a permissions panel. It's unclear whether this is still an issue, plus there's no actionable path.
