In SMS App switch from Message -> To: background flashes.
In message, unfocus, Message gets relocated only after the keyboard is done hiding (but maybe thats a SMS bug).

Is this the same as Bug 958035?
If not, could you provide the steps and the expected result in more detail?

No, not the same.

1. Open SMS app
2. Create new text
3. Tap Message
4. Tap outside the message box

Keyboard disappears, but the 'Message' bottom bar will only be put on the bottom until after the keyboard was completely hidden, leaving a white space below during hiding.

These days, I get a very weird behavior when in the new message view, in the SMS app, when focussing the recipient panel, the keyboard is obscuring the input line.

I get this black line even when word suggestion is disabled.

I'm currently building a new gecko to see whether this fixes what I see.

I'm tempted to say that this is not a Keyboard bug but a SMS bug due to the high number of expensive reflows that may happen when the window is resized. Those reflows likely delay the rendering.

I have some ideas to not resize the window when the keyboard is shown. This work will be tracked by bug 970093

This works correctly in master on the Flame. Tapping outside of the keyboard resizes the app before the keyboard disappears.
