Try this sequence: * In Metro, load: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ (any page) * Then load: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1719101/share/noload.html * Use Relaunch in Desktop menu item to open this session in desktop firefox * Confirm back works as expected, returning you to Bugzilla * Use forward button to return you to the noload.html * Use Windows 8 Touch menu item to open this session in metro firefox * Try to use back button to go back in history to Bugzilla The noload.html page has no event handlers at all. Presumably the history is there in the session as it works in desktop, its just the back button that is in the wrong state. May be same issue as bug 952501?

Actually, javascript:window.history.back() doesn't work in this tab either (but does in others) so its not just the overlay button that's hosed.

Fixed by the patch from bug 957150.
