I'm filling out some coaching notes at work.com. I keep changing the spellchecking language to UK but if I focus away and back to the text box it changes back to US again.

The problem seems to be that the spellchecker sets the language based on the lang attribute or Content-Language header when the input element is focused, thereby overriding any language the user has previously set explicitly. This needs to be reworked so that it doesn't do this. This is a necessary first step towards fixing some other bugs involving persistence of the language setting - adding these as dependent bugs.

Clearly a bug about not respecting the user choice of en-GB and reverting to en-US.
