Once bug 794943 is fixed, it doesn't make sense to expose only the interface object.
Yes.  We should make this ChromeOnly.  Or just NoInterfaceObject, if we care.
My patches for bug 794943 do this.
No, they hide window.controllers.  This bug is about window.Controllers (the interface object).

On Nightly, this is fixed between June 13, 2017 and June 14, 2017:

But Firefox release 86 still has window.Controllers. I'm not sure this is really fixed.
