Using most up-to-date pvt build (2014/1/20) to test(mako) STR: 1. Enable "NFC" in Settings App 2. Launch browser 3. Tap 2 phones with NFC enabled together 4. After seeing shrinking UI, slide to send 5. Redo 1-4 several times Expected result: It should still ok to do nfc pairing Actual result: NFC is gone forever, and it's didn't come back even after restart (Wesley Huang and I was testing it, Wesley can prove that this issue is true)

Moving to 1.5? as NFC is not a supported feature in 1.4 per de-scoped feature list.

For something to not work between reboots, some property state likely was modified and saved or corrupted. Logs with DEBUG enabled in nfc_consts.js would be useful, if you have it. I'll take a look. This might be an nfcd issue, or ro.nfc.enabled being unset somehow at the platform level.

Seems to be working (head revision mozillaorg gecko and gaia) after 10 cycles. Can you repeat and see if you can now reproduce?

Ok, it is not reproducible in this version anymore. Please still keep an eye on related situation, and if it reproduces again, I will open a new bug
