:jchen noticed that there are almost no nightly submissions from nightly builds after 2014-01-15. I confirmed that the number of submissions on the nightly channel has dropped off steeply in the past several days.

TelemetryPing doesn't seem to get initialized properly because it doesn't receive the profile-after-change event from the TelemetryStartup.js xpcom component. Since TelemetryStartup.js has not been added to package-manifest.in, the component is missing from the distribution. On related note, it would be nice to have some kind of automated warning when the number of submissions on the nightly channel drop suddenly.
