Pasting text into the mail composer using mouse-button 2 doesn't end up at either the location of the text cursor or the mouse pointer. This also occurs in text input forms in the browser, but I don't see how to report the same bug for two components in Bugzilla. Reproducing the bug: * Open Mail composer (plaintext mode -- I haven't tested HTML mode) * Enter several lines of text; for example: 1 2 3 4 * Leave the text cursor below the last line of text. * Open an xterm and type some text at the command prompt, for example: foo * Select the text in the xterm using mouse-button 1. Place the mouse pointer to the right of the "3" in the compose menu, and press mouse-button 2. I get: 1 2foo 3 4* With longer messages, the pasted text can appear many lines away from the mouse or cursor. Despite some experimentation, I can't find any pattern to the location Mozilla chooses.
