User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131205075310
Steps to reproduce:
http://www.rai.tv/dl/replaytv/replaytv.html?day=2014-01-21&ch=1&v=317453&vd=2014-01-21&vc=1#day=2014-01-21&ch=1&v=317453&vd=2014-01-21&vc=1
all the videos in Raireplay (no issue with the same video in Ondemand)
Actual results:
after Rai updated his site, I see what you can see here
http://postimg.org/image/fb5qc76yf/
http://postimg.org/image/bg2c9mnsn/full/
1. issue in full screen mode (no real full screen, but firefox menù)
2. the video is chunked (the logo: R instead of Rai...)
3. video chunked in expanded mode too.
all the videos Ondemand are ok.
issues only in Raireplay: here the silverlight interface has been changed. I guess this is the problem.
Expected results:
all the videos in raireplay seven days, should run well as in the part Ondemand, with the coorect logo displayed and the real full screen mode, without firefox and OS bars.
thanks for investigating.
the same issue on other pc, with other os, too. with firefox. ok with safari opera (the aspect ratio and the logo are ok; the me iue th full screenmode).
I think it's a TE bug.
Reg. range:

I saw another a radio website where a Flash player was broken after this patch landed.

Hi Loic, thanks for your investigation.
what means TE bug?
there are workatounds or I wait for an official fix?
addendum:
if this may be helpful, here a comparison:
1) the new interface (with issues for me: fake full screen, that means fullscreen = expanded windows of the player; the logo "Rai1HD" becomes "R"...)
http://www.rai.tv/dl/replaytv/replaytv.html?day=2014-01-26&ch=1&v=319392&vd=2014-01-26&vc=1
vs.
2)
the older interface (perfect!):

thanks in advance.
(sorry, I just received a mail notification, but no newer comments has been added (?) ).
"needinfo" from my side?

I am not seeing this problem on my Win7 machine; I don't have a Vista system on hand for testing.
The site appears to use a mixture of Flash and Silverlight; even within a single list of videos (e.g. under the replaytv list) some are in each format, so behavior may well vary.
Reporter: have you tried running Firefox with a new profile, to check whether this affects the behavior?
What is your screen size/resolution, and what is the setting for text size (100%, 125%, 150%, ...?) in the Display control panel?

the same with a new profile.
no, seven users are not affected by this issue after rai updates thier site!!
on rayplay seven day they are using silverlight and smooth streaming since more than one year.
raireplay doest works, while ondemand does well (due to the old interface they are still using??). (see the links).
its very important to have the previous behaviour in firefox on vista because in febrary we have the sanremo festival, so this site becomes very important.
I hope that the dev will release a 26.0.1 regression patch or I can wait until ff27, but its important to obtain the previous behaviour (regression? as Loic said).
screen:
hp w2408h 24''
1920x1200 (native), 60Hz
please dont leave me alone with this big issue ;)
(the problem with the fake full screen happens with Mac too. on Vista the issue with the chunked logo + fake full screen.)
no idea where to watch to know the text size, I send you a 100% screenshot of this page to establish the text size.
I dont see this info about the text size.
thanks.

to establish the zoom settings?
http://postimg.org/image/8p7jietj7/
no, the behaviour does no vary.
ALL the videos in the RaiRaply are affected by the issue since 2 days (chunked logo, bad expanded window, no real full screen)
they have the newer silverlight interface.
ALL the videos in the ondemand are not affected (old silverlight interface).

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about "fake full screen". The full screen display for their Flash video looks OK on my Mac here.
How are you entering "full screen" mode? Do you mean the browser's View/Full Screen command (or key F11 on Windows, I think; Ctrl-Cmd-F on Mac), or are you clicking the Fullscreen icon in the bottom right corner of the video player? These are two quite different things, and will result in different displays. The first should make the browser window fill the screen, while the second should make the video alone take over the full screen.

I mean the Windows system setting for adjusting the size of everything on the screen. On Win7, it's in Control Panel / Display / Screen Resolution / Make text and other items larger or smaller, with choices of Smaller, Medium, or Larger; or there's also a Set Custom Text Size (DPI) option. I'm not sure exactly where to find the equivalent setting in Vista, but it would be helpful to know how it's configured on your system, as this affects the scaling of all the content.

ehmm sorry, where are flash videos in rai site??
I never seen a flash video, never, on the rai!
Rai uses silverlight. Never flash!
fake full screen
http://postimg.org/image/bg2c9mnsn/full/
no f11, no.
enter full screen by clicking the icon on silverlight, as always in the past.
icon in the bottom right corner of the video player: yes.
Until yesterday this botton let me to get the full screen (full screnn = no firefox nor OS status bar)
If I use F11 I dont get the video full screen but the whole internet page, I am not intersted in this.
The first should make the browser window fill the screen:
yes, this is the problem: only with ondemnd I go this, while with raireplay it fails! (and the video is cropped: full screen or normal screen or expanded screen: I see R insstead Rai1HD (ehm sorry, did you watch the links from yesterday, with my fotos?) these fotos describe the issue better than my words.
all what I can find is the DPI (default 96), not 120.

ohhhhh
miracle!
in this moment, after 4 years, "mother Rai" uploaded their videos in flash!!!
the logo is ok now!
nothing is chunked. vey good.
but if I press full screen botton in the video (not f11) > nothing happens. canyou confirm that nothing is happening when you press full scree? thanks
ohhhh mother rai is introducing big changes in the time I write to you....

I think it's related to Windows, when the screen resolution is different from 100%, maybe.
Mine is a full HD screen with resolution to 125%. The player fullscreen tooltip is missing, and the video stream is cropped.

In your case, the scale level is probably 100% (96 DPI).

ok, thanks.
I guess that we have to wait until Rai (better RaiNet) will change all the silverlight videos, replacing them with flash (a very big change: a very strange choice because Rai does/did prefer the smooth streming to avoid the free download of their videos! strange...),
at the moment "in flash mode" the fullscreen doesnt exist! but the crop is ok, the logo isnt truncated.
again thans for your patience.
