From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.77 [en] (Win98; U) BuildID: 20010816 After creating a table I double clicked it and chose the table tab and changed the table alignment to center align. After I centered aligned the table I began typing in a cell and the table appeared to be broken and the text went outside of the cell. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Composer 2.Inert a table using the toolbar, make a 2x2 table with a 100 pixel width 3.Double click the table 4.Click on the table tab and choose center for the table alignment and click ok 5.Type in "1,000,000" in each cell Actual Results: On the screen there will be major graphical distortion with the table and the text that is being typed. Nothing appears properly and some of the cells seem to dissappear, if you click close to where the other cells should be you can select them. If you switch to another view such as Preview or switch to another program or screen the distortion will go away. If you continue to type though so that the table is width is changed the distortion will reappear. Another thing to note is that if you put sentences in and it text wraps there is a vertical distortion that is not as bad as typing in long words or numbers that change the cells width. Expected Results: The table should appear properly on the screen as it would on a regular web page. I center aligned by placing the cursor next to the table and used the center button and it worked fine when used this way.

A 1x2 table has the same problem and the problem exists even in the more common case where the typed characters are broken up with some whitspace. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 86314 ***
