In Email app, "Drawer" component is not connected to Building Blocks. If common elements change, that change won't be reflected on the app.

If this is the "click on menu item, see folder list" drawer, note that it is going under a significant design change, in bug 940132. Similarly, bug 940512 for calendar. It turns out the behavior of the UI within the drawer for email and calendar is different enough that it is hard to share much code between them in those redesigns, at least so far. So if this bug is about using building blocks that are older than the design in those bugs, it may not be worth tracking that now.
Casey, will you or anybody in your team be updating drawer BB to VDR? Should I get involved if no one is, so apps could use BB instead of writing custom code for each app? Thx!
