In most non-english langauges, the list of Smart Collection suggestions are only displayed in English. This includes the four Smart Collections that are placed on the homescreen by default. The default Smart Collections are translated when seen on the homepage, but appear in English on the Smart Collection list. When one of these options is selected from the Smart Collection list, it will be translated when it is placed on the homescreen. Usually, placing a Smart Collection on the homescreen will remove it from the Smart Collection list. The list elements that get translated are not removed from the Smart Collection list. This allows the user to place these Smart Collections on the homescreen multiple times.

This issue does not occur in every language. See Notes section for complete list of which languages this issue occurs in, as well as which Smart Collection terms are affected.

Repro Steps: 
1) Updated Buri to BuildID: 20140203004001
2) Set device language to Bengali. (Or any language from the list below)
3) Long press on the homepage.
4) Select 'Add Smart Collections'
5) Highlight every element of the list (except 'Custom...') and add all of them to the homepage.
6) Repeat steps 3 and 4.

Actual:
Certain elements from the list are still displayed and can be repeatedly added to the homescreen. 

Expected:
Any Smart Collection term that is added to the homepage is removed from the Smart Collection list.

Might be related to the problem in bug 968998. Weird glitch, but it's minor overall.

This is reproducible 100% for example with

fr / French - Games, Music

This list is generated in ev.me code (I don't know if in gaia or server). Please Ran could you take a look? Thanks a lot

By design, the Collection suggestions list is displayed in English for languages not supported by E.me (bugs 946724, 938067 for more details).

The list is filtered based on the names of Collections on the Homescreen which are translated, and hence not filtered out.

We plan to filter based on id's instead of names in bug 945698 which will also fix this issue, so I think we can close this as DUPLICATE.
